El aeropuerto de Lukla en Nepal está, como aquel que dice, en el campo base del Everest !!! Situado a 9.100 pies de altura (2.800 m), esta pista de algo más de 450 metros de largo es el punto de acceso obligado a la montaña más alta del mundo, ya que la única manera de visitar esta pequeña localidad de Nepal es aterrizando en este dificil aeropuerto o caminando 10 días desde la falda del everest.
